1883年3月2日，杜伯克博士獲委任為香港天文台首任台長。

On 2 March, 1883, Dr. William Doberck was appointed the first Director of the Hong Kong Observatory.
This year, the Observatory will celebrate its 130th anniversary with a series of activities.

香港分區天氣 (地理信息系統平台) Regional Weather in Hong Kong (Geographic Information System Platform)

注意事項 Points to note:

1. 此網頁運用地理信息系統提供本港各區自動氣象站的天氣觀測資料，同時亦可疊加天氣雷達圖像或閃電位置的資料，在單一平台顯示。
   This web page utilizes Geographic Information System platform to provide weather observations taken at various automatic weather stations over Hong Kong. Radar imageries and lightning locations can be overlaid together on the same platform.

2. 用戶可點擊選擇並顯示各種天氣資料如氣溫、相對濕度、最高氣溫、最低氣溫、草溫、能見度、風等，亦可觀看氣象站所攝取的天氣照片。至於個別氣象站的讀數，可通過點擊該氣象站的位置而獲取相關的資料，亦可選擇以時間序列形式來顯示過去二十四小時氣象參數的變化。
   Users can choose to display air temperatures, relatively humidities, maximum air temperatures, minimum air temperatures, grass temperatures, visibilities, winds as well as weather photos taken at various locations. By clicking on any one weather station in the map, user can obtain relevant weather information reported at this station, including the choice of displaying the time series of meteorological readings in the past 24 hours.

3. 網頁上的天氣資料，天氣雷達圖像及閃電位置可能不同步更新。
   Weather information, radar imageries and lightning locations may not be synchronized.

4. 本網頁的背景地圖資料源自 Google Maps ，使用地圖須受到 Google 服務條款的約束。
   The background geographical information in this page comes from Google Maps and the usage is subject to Google's Terms of Use.
