2013/14年度財政預算資助中學申請津貼安排
各資助中學校監,如擬就開班及聘請教學人員申請經常及非經常津貼,請在2013年4月8日或之前,將夾附於本通函的表格填妥並寄回所屬的高級學校發展主任,以便本局將有關開支列入2013/14學年的財政預算。
Supervisors of aided secondary schools who wish to apply for recurrent and non-recurrent grants for operating classes and appointment of teaching staff for inclusion in the estimates for the 2013/14 school year should complete and return the enclosed Form to the respective Senior School Development Officers on or before 8 April 2013.

在2013/14學年,資助中學的教師與班級比例如下:
In the 2013/14 school year, the teacher-to-class ratios for aided secondary schools are:
(a) 初中(即中一至中三)每班有1.7名教師
1.7 teachers per junior secondary class (i.e. S1 – S3)
(b) 高中(即中四至中六)每班有2.0名教師
2.0 teachers per senior secondary class (i.e. S4 – S6)

資助中學新學制下的教職員人手編制常見的問題與答案
1. 問: 學校應否把根據教師與班級比例計算得到的教學人員數目,上捨入至下一個整數?
2. 問: 由2009/10學年起,以往的分組授課額外教師、學校圖書館主任、額外的中文教師、負責輔導教學、學生輔導及課外活動的額外教師和根據《教育統籌委員會第五號報告書》建議的額外非學位教師,已不再另行提供,這是否表示不鼓勵學校繼續調配教師擔任有關職務?
3. 問: 計算為支援學業成績稍遜學生而提供的額外教師的方法與以往有何不同?
4. 問: 若按教師與班級比例計算得來的教學人員數目,和為支援學業成績稍遜學生而增聘的教師職位數目,均有小數位部分,那麼這些小數位應如何處理?
5. 問: 關於第4題答案中的例子2和3,學校可否把計算後出現的整數教師職位,轉為「小數位職位現金津貼」?

1. Q. Should schools round up the result of teaching staff entitlement calculated from the T/C ratios to the next whole number?
2. Q. From the 2009/10 school year, additional teachers for split-class teaching, school librarian, additional Chinese language teachers, additional teachers for remedial teaching, counseling and extra-curricular activities and additional non-graduate teachers under ECR5 are not provided separately. Does it mean that schools are not encouraged to deploy teachers for the relevant duties?
3. Q. Is there any change in the calculation of additional teachers to support Academic Low Achievers (ALA)?
4. Q. If both the teaching staff entitlement calculated from the T/C ratios and the provision of additional teachers to support ALA contain fractional parts, how will they be treated?
5. Q. Concerning cases no. 2 and 3 in the answer to Question 4 above, can schools opt for FPCG to encash the whole number entitlement?
