2013「香港青少年軍事夏令營」

「香港青少年軍事夏令營」由羣力資源中心、中國人民解放軍駐香港部隊及香港特別行政區政府教育局聯合主辦，目的是透過紀律訓練和專題講座培養學生的品德、領袖才能，以及刻苦、自律、守紀和團結的精神。
夏令營於2013年7月14日至28日(為期15天)在駐香港部隊粉嶺新圍軍營舉行，讓學生有機會體驗駐香港部隊的生活，學習基本的軍事知識及加深對國防的認識。
完成15天夏令營訓練的學生將獲頒發結業證書。
The “Military Summer Camp for Hong Kong Youth” is jointly organised by the Concerted Efforts Resource Centre, the Chinese People's Liberation Army Forces Hong Kong and the Education Bureau of HKSARG. It aims to provide discipline training and thematic talks so as to develop morality and leadership potential among students, and to foster their endurance, self-discipline, compliance and spirit of unity.
The summer camp to be held in Gallipoli Lines (Fanling Barracks) from 14 to 28 July 2013 (lasting for 15 days) provides the opportunity for students to experience the daily life of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Forces Hong Kong, to acquire basic military knowledge and skills, and to enhance their knowledge on national defence.
On successful completion of the 15-day training camp, each student will be awarded a certificate.

本夏令營現正接受申請，請各中學校長提名不多於三名男學生及不多於三名女學生參加。獲提名的學生必須為現就讀中三、中四或中五而在2013年7月14日前年滿15歲、品行優良、體能良好、具備普通話溝通能力，以及未曾參加過「香港青少年軍事夏令營」。
由於資源及設施的限制，本屆夏令營的男學生名額為150名，而女學生名額為110名。
學生參加與否屬自願性質，學校宜向有關學生家長介紹夏令營的學習目的及活動內容。
The summer camp is now open for application. Heads of secondary schools are invited to nominate not more than three male students and not more than three female students who are studying at S3, S4 or S5, and aged 15 before 14 July 2013 to participate in the camp. Nominees should have good conduct and physical fitness, be able to communicate in Putonghua and have not participated in the “Military Summer Camp for Hong Kong Youth” before.
In view of resources and facilities constraints, a quota of 150 male students and 110 female students will be set for the camp.
Participation must be on a voluntary basis. Schools should introduce the objectives and the contents of the summer camp to the parents of participating students.
