為了進一步有效地回應學校的需要和鼓勵申請，由本年度開始，申請金額不超逾六十萬元的計劃，審批時間將縮短至三個月。
申請金額超逾六十萬元的計劃，審批時間將維持在最長六個月。
To further meet schools' needs and encourage applications, starting from this year, the processing time for applications for grant not exceeding $600,000 will be shortened to three months.
Processing time for applications for grant exceeding $600,000 will remain at a maximum of six months.



優質教育基金強化優質教育
自一九九八年成立以來，優質教育基金支持逾八千二百份計劃申請，至今已經累積了不少具創意的寶貴計劃成果及教學實踐經驗。
優質教育基金在二零一一／一二學年共處理三百八十三份撥款申請，獲批申請共一百三十五份，撥款共約六千五百八十萬元。
資助款額由七萬三千五百至二百九十四萬二千二百元。

Reinforcement of quality education through Quality Education Fund
Since its establishment in 1998, the QEF has supported over 8 200 projects, bringing about successful innovative ideas, practices and experiences to raise the quality of education.
The QEF processed 383 applications in the 2011/12 school year, among which 135 applications were approved, involving a total grant amounting to around $65.8 million.
The grants approved in this school year range from $73,500 to $2,942,200.
