Very High API at Roadside Stations - 21 August 2013 (Wednesday)

甚高路邊空氣污染指數 － 二零一三年八月二十一日 (星期三)


各幼稚園、中小及特殊學校校長注意：

現夾附由環境保護署發出有關香港今天(2013年8月21日)空氣污染指數資料的連結，請參閱教育局通告第9/2010號「空氣污染指數」，採取適當措施。

由於預計在未來數天，本港的空氣污染指數將可能維持在甚高水平(即超過100)，本局提醒各學校在本週每個上課日按以下路徑，到環境保護署的網頁查閱當天的空氣污染指數水平。
如上課日的空氣污染指數達到甚高水平，務請各學校按上述通告採取適當的措施。

請注意，從下次通報開始，本局將只使用電郵(包括香港教育城的電郵)把重要訊息傳送給學校。
為此，本局促請學校不時檢查電郵帳戶，以確保學校能及時接收有關訊息。

Attention of Heads of Kindergartens, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools:

Attached please find the link of the Air Pollution Index (API) of Hong Kong today (21 August 2013) issued by the Environmental Protection Department (EPD). Please refer to the Education Bureau Circular No. 9/2010 on “Air Pollution Index” and take appropriate measures.

As it is anticipated that the API would possibly be at the very high level (i.e. over 100) in the coming few days, schools are reminded to follow the path below to check against the API level at EPD’s website each school day of this week.
Should the API reach the very high level on any school day, schools should take the necessary measures as stipulated in the above circular.

Please note that with effect from the next announcement, we will send important messages to schools only through email.
Please be reminded to check your school emails (including the emails of HKEdCity) from time to time to ensure that the relevant messages can be received.
