Block Insurance Policy for Public Liability, Employees’ Compensation and Group Personal Accident for 2013/14 and 2014/15 School Years

綜合保險計劃 (公眾責任、僱員補償及團體人身意外) 2013/14及2014/15學年

由2013年9月1日起，中國太平保險(香港)有限公司會承辦綜合保險計劃，而現有計劃亦由該日起終止。
此項為期24個月的新計劃，是教育局為有關學校投購的。承保範圍包括公眾責任、僱員補償及團體人身意外的風險。各項保險的最高保額如下：

China Taiping Insurance (HK) Co. Ltd. will serve as the Insurer for the BIP with effect from 1 September 2013 upon the expiry of the current BIP on the same date.
The new 24-month BIP, arranged by the Education Bureau (EDB) on behalf of the schools concerned, covers public liability, employees’ compensation and group personal accident risks with the following limits of indemnity -

Education Bureau Circular No. 15/2013 Block Insurance Policy for Public Liability, Employees’ Compensation and Group Personal Accident for 2013/14 and 2014/15 School Years

為了教師、學生及學校的利益，所有學校均須鄭重考慮投購適切的保險，以應付火警、意外及學生和其他人士受傷事件引致學校須承擔的公眾責任，以及根據《僱員補償條例 》的規定須給予其僱員的賠償。
In the interest of the school, teachers and students, all schools are advised to seriously consider the need for obtaining adequate insurance to cover the public liabilities arising from fire, accidents and injuries to students and other persons as well as the employees' compensation as required by the "Employees' Compensation Ordinance".

政府購買資助學校（包括未完全變成為直資學校的原資助學校）及按額津貼學校的綜合保險計劃。
The Government takes out a Block Insurance Policy for aided (including aided schools before full conversion into schools under the Direct Subsidy Scheme) and Caput schools.
