概覽涵蓋全港約970間幼稚園及幼稚園暨幼兒中心的資料，包括在二○一三／一四學年參加學前教育學券計劃的幼稚園名單，以及各幼稚園在二○一三／一四學年的最新核准學費等。
如幼稚園已參加學券計劃，概覽亦會顯示學校在兌換學券後的核准學費。
The Profile covers information on about 970 kindergartens and kindergarten-cum-child care centres, including the list of kindergartens joining the Pre-primary Education Voucher Scheme (PEVS) in the 2013/14 school year. The Profile also shows the approved school fees of kindergartens for the 2013/14 school year.
For kindergartens joining the PEVS, their approved school fees after the redemption of vouchers are also shown.

概覽同時登載各幼稚園的校長及教師人數和有關學歷、學生人數、師生比例、課程資料及主要代辦項目參考價目等。
所有參加學券計劃的幼稚園亦須同時公開主要開支範圍的支出比例。

All kindergartens joining the PEVS are required to disclose information on the application of funds to various expenditure areas.

所有參加學券計劃的幼稚園均須接受質素評核，以確保質素。
概覽會顯示已完成質素評核的幼稚園是否已能達到指定標準的資料，並提供連結至已上載的評核報告。
All kindergartens joining the PEVS are required to undergo the Quality Review (QR) for quality assurance purposes.
For those kindergartens that have completed the QR process, information on whether they have met the prescribed standards is indicated in the Profile and the QR Report is accessible through the linkage provided.

概覽的編印本將於二○一三年十月三十一日起，放置在教育局區域教育服務處、民政事務總署諮詢服務中心、衛生署母嬰健康院、社會福利署綜合家庭服務中心及各公共圖書館，供家長查閱。

New profiles of kindergartens posted online
Printed copies of the Profile will be available for parents' reference at the Regional Education Offices of the EDB, Public Enquiry Service Centres of the Home Affairs Department, Maternal and Child Health Centres of the Department of Health, Integrated Family Service Centres of the Social Welfare Department and public libraries starting from October 31, 2013.
