各學校須特別留意遇有熱帶氣旋及持續大雨時的不同安排。
Special attention is drawn to the different arrangements in the event of tropical cyclones and heavy persistent rain.
熱帶氣旋逐漸形成，而且影響較為持久；
當教育局因熱帶氣旋影響本港而宣布學校停課，學校應安排學生在安全情況下回家。
The development of tropical cyclones is progressive and the effects are more lasting.
With the announcement of suspension of classes in case of tropical cyclones, schools should arrange students to return home under safe conditions.
至於因持續大雨所造成的惡劣情況，來去都可能十分迅速；
因此，在上課期間，即使天文台發出紅色或黑色暴雨警告信號，學校亦應繼續上課，不應立即讓學生回家。
For heavy persistent rain, however, adverse situation could develop quickly and dissipate quickly.
Therefore, schools should continue their lessons when RED/BLACK rainstorm warning signal is issued during lesson time and should not send students home immediately.
個別學校如認為有確實需要透過電台及電視台發出有關其學校的公布，可把有關公布以可移植文檔格式(PDF)(樣本載於附錄)發送至下列電郵地址：

校方須致電 9193 9541 以確認教育局收到有關公布，以便轉發至電台及電視台，但會否播放有關公布，則由各電台及電視台自行決定。
Individual schools that see a genuine need to make a radio an television announcement for some school specific situations can email a PDF file of the announcement (sample at the Appendix) to the following address:
suspclass@edb.gov.hk
The schools concerned are required to call at 9193 9541 to confirm receipt of the announcement for forwarding to the electronic media. However, it will be at the discretion of TV/radio stations whether or not to broadcast the announcement.
